ALCAN Indigenous

Protecting Country. Protecting Community.

A Credible Aboriginal Fire Safety Contractor

ALCAN Indigenous is an Aboriginal-owned and controlled fire safety services business established to deliver high-quality, compliant fire protection services while creating genuine, long-term Aboriginal participation in a highly regulated industry.

Who We Are

ALCAN Indigenous combines proven industry capability with a structured operating model.

We operate as an Aboriginal prime contractor, maintaining full commercial control while ensuring delivery meets the highest safety and compliance standards.

Our approach is transparent, disciplined and built for high-risk environments.

Our Story

This business is grounded in connection between people, place and opportunity.

To bring this story to life, we commissioned a piece of artwork from local artist Jesse Little, a proud Whadjuk man from Boorloo (Perth), ensuring our story is grounded in cultural authenticity, lived experience and connection to Country.

About the Artwork

The artwork reflects how we operate and the outcomes we are working towards.

It represents connection between people, systems, pathways and Country and reflects how the business is designed to operate: structured, connected and built for long-term outcomes.

Jesse Little

Whadjuk Noongar Artist

“My name is Jesse Little, a proud Whadjuk man from Boorloo (Perth). I stand strong in my identity, my family, and my culture. I’m proud to be Terrence’s brother.”

“This artwork represents my deep connection to land and Country, and the journey of growth, strength, and fruition that lies ahead for Ali and Terrence.”

Artwork Meaning – In the Artist’s Words

“This section of the artwork represents the communities, diverse peoples, and the interconnectedness of Country, lands, and waterways that will be engaged with throughout their journey.”

“The black lines and large circles symbolise meeting places and pathways, intentionally left open to be enriched by future works, achievements, and shared experiences.”

“This section represents the meeting place of Ali and Terrance; a space where stories originate, are shared, and carried forward. It reflects Mesopotamia, symbolising the deep foundations of storytelling and human connection.”

“At the bottom left is KALA (fire), the lines representing a continuous cultural flame that has burned for over 70,000 years on Western Australia’s BOODJA (land), being the tie to Ali and Terrence’s connection, embodying knowledge, resilience, and connection to Country.”
